(3,541 posts)I graduated high school in 66, and from college in 70. My first years at college, girls had to wear skirts to class unless it was snowing, and dress up required to eat at the commissary for Sunday dinner (This was a Wash State College). Things loosened up totally in 69, and I wore jeans to everything my whole Sr year. Such a huge cultural shift in a very short time.
