I need your input... does anyone like the reving car racing sound effects in movies?

I find it major obnoxious, but wonder if others like it.

1. Transporter 3 fixed that. Its car sound is a low rumbling growl. It's a noticeable difference.

The sound overall in that movie is great. The movie itself? Meh. Great stunts but over the top silly.

3. What I hate is the sound of space ship engines in outer space.

The shot is of a space ship gliding through space accompanied by the rumble of engines - which you would not hear unless you were inside. They always do that and it bugs me.

I thoroughly enjoy a screaming engine. I like the smell of gas, oil, grease, diesel, and exhaust. Add high revs to it? Awesome.

Monster pick-ups, bikes, sports cars. At 3 A.M. there are some kind of drag racing things going on a mile or two away - right in my bed ear.
