And, when I was stationed in Okinawa, there was an occsion when it dod.
On a Marine.
Who was due to rotate back th the US in just two or three days.
And was married.
There was much speculation as to how he would explain that.

I am currently reading some Downton Abbey fan fiction. One writer is driving me nuts. She consistently uses her when she should use she.

This is bad enough in speech. I find it particularly jarring in writing.
