3. Proper clothing--clean, too.

I am tired of seeing people out and about in pajamas or sweats rumpled and often dirty. My grandparents taught us to always check the mirror to make sure we looked good before we went out in public. It shows respect for others as well as self.

5. 2" heels and flats.

I can't believe women accept some of the fashion trends like those stilettos that seem to be the standard of late. I think they were created as obstacles to women participating in just about everything in life.

6. Spectator shoes.

I've got two pairs of them; brown-and-white and black-and-white. Wonderful fashion accessories.

However, I have always wondered how shoe polish is applied (?). White first OR brown(/black) first OR does it even matter OR is a teeny-tiny brush of each color (shoe polish) necessary OR maybe just utilize a clear type of shoe polish if that is even available any longer?

8. For my brown-and-whites, I just use 'Neutral', which, as you pointed out, is a clear polish.

For my black-and-whites, I use black, but I dab it on very carefully with a fingertip, so as not to get it on the white sections, and use a cotton rag and some water to bring out the gloss.
