Heads up! The movie Southside With You is coming up in the ScreenPix Voices

channel on my cable at 5:35 pm, MST. The first time I saw this movie I added it to my
faves list and now I watch it any time I can.

Some spoilage here: the plot of this movie is basically the first "date" that Barack and
Michelle had. Barack called it a date but Michelle resisted saying that it was.

This movie fulfills every criteria I look for: a great soundtrack, great casting, great
performances and exquisite exit music. Yeah, I like it. Lots.

but then, movies set in chicago are always a treat.
riding the bus back in '08 i heard a lot of stories about when he got here, and stuff he did, back in the early days. knew some of the steel workers whose pensions he fought for.
and he turned out to be just who those folks all said he was.

so sad they didnt move back.
