Curbside.

I'm going to whine and moan about this again.

Curbside pick-up for prescriptions.

Big ass parking lot.

4 or 5 spots clearly and permanently signed indicating these spots are reserved for curbside prescription pickup. There is a phone number on the sign, along with clear instructions.

Pull into the spot, keep your dumbass in the car, call the phone number, do your transaction over the phone, pharmacy tech comes out with your bag of medicines, you show your ID through the window, they set your bag on your hood, you give a thumbs up and wave bye bye to them, they leave, you go out and retrieve the bag off your hood, then you drive off.

Went today to pick up some scripts. every single one of those spots was filled with empty vehicles, mostly pick up trucks. This means that someone just felt like parking in that spot because it shortens their walk when they go inside to buy their RingDings and Twinkies.

Why I'm typing this: For whatever reason, this turns me into a "mumbling, stuttering prick", to quote a line from the movie Goodfellas.

I can't wrap my head around this. What is it that makes 4 or 5 people park in clearly reserved spots? What are the chances of that happening? I really and truly do not understand.

I have the pharmacy phone number in my contacts, so I don't need to read it off the sign. So I drove out to a remote part of the parking lot and called the pharmacy. Turns out one the scripts was not ready, so I just said I would come back on Saturday. If they were ready, however, my plan was to go and park horizontally behind 2 or 3 of those cars, and wait. If someone came back to their car, I would have told them kindly that they would have to wait for my drugs to be brought to me.

Then I would probably have been shot.

What a fucking world. Seriously, stuff like this blows my mind and I think about it for hours. WHO THE FUCK PARKS IN A RESERVED PARKING SPOT? Let alone 4 or 5 people?

I have much, much bigger and more important things to complain about, but this topic seems to be my favorite. Probably because it is indicative of a big ass problem with a lot of humans.

The same people who park in a handicapped space to save them from walking 10 more feet
