"This isn't going to hurt......much" It really didn't, but the remark was so humorous it made me think of something else.

As long as they don't ask me "Is it safe?"

8. I had developed

a fairly severe phobia of dentists because of this one dentist who tortured me for a few years when I was a child.

Years later my teeth started going bad, and I needed to see someone, so, on a whim, I went to one of two brothers, each of whom had the same name as my son and my brother, who were only 6 months apart in age.

The guy was awesome. A filling had fallen out of my front teeth and he replaced it so it was actually stronger than the teeth itself. But his whole mannerism and attitude. Great! The novocaine he injected...hardly hurt at all. He was so gentle.

I recommended him to lots of people.
