1. Pick 'em up and put 'em in trash bags with a little gasoline in the bag and then throw 'em away.

They are not supposed to be part of Florida's ecology.

2. They are sometimes dead

Probably from the fall. I figure about half the time they get up and leave when it warms up.

About 15 years ago, we had a cold front hard enough to actually cull the herd a little bit. They were noticeably fewer for several years before making a comeback as strong as ever.

I detest the nasty buggers and I hope they all fall head first.

3. Remember that happened a couple years ago

My nephew has a pet iguana so I forwarded the story to him. There was a link in that story to a woman who worked at a golf course and she would go out every day to gather the iguanas, they were so prevalent.
