I was just reflecting on that scene in last week's episode with Hank and his partner talking with their boss, and the look on Hank's face when the boss is talking about Fring being at his house for a BBQ etc.
Earlier Hank had said that he got a quick peek at Fring's laptop before it got put into the evidence room.
How likely is it that he saw either Jesse or Walt on it, or something to otherwise implicate Walt? Hank doesn't seem like one to hold his cards close to his vest, but is it possible?

(15,882 posts)Hank sees Walt as a milktoasty kind of guy, science teacher, etc. It would be a massive confusion for him to wrap his brain cells around the idea that Walt is Heisenberg. I think he will get there, but it will be a big leap.
I am wondering if his kid is going to wind up shooting Walt in the last episode. Maybe Walt pulls a gun on Hank, and the kid has to make a choice. Or maybe he just get him busted...
we shall see...

(18 posts)No way Hank knows. That scene was just made to show him that walt MIGHT be connected somehow.

I think the look you're referring was when his partner mentioned Gus was right under their noses the whole time. However, you have to remember that Hank wasn't fooled. So it could have been an if you had only listened to me look. I think Hank is still secure in the belief that he wouldn't be fooled if it were going on right under his nose, which is exactly why he probably won't ever figure it out unless Walt wants him to.

(5,317 posts)Hank's look was a seed being planted in his mind about what might be right in front of his face. There are lot of dots that can be connected in a way he doesn't want them to be. There will be a revelation that he just can't ignore and the audience will know when it happens.
