(6,996 posts)In my old neighborhood soda fountain a plain seltzer was just 2 cents. It's still my favorite drink, ice cold seltzer, but now I make my own at home with a SodaStream.

(6,996 posts)If you are satisfied with the taste of your water supply the seltzer that you make will be fine. I find mine to taste as good as any commercial product that I have had. And it keeps it's "fizz" very well in the fridge.

... though I REALLY like it with the tiniest splash of Rose's Lime Juice (I used to drink this
after I stopped drinking alcohol when riding my motorcycle -- but try to teach a bartender
that a "splash" does not mean half-to-a-full shot glass-worth of Rose's).

When it's on sale, sometimes I go for Canada Dry seltzer flavored with raspberry.

(46,680 posts)Seltzer works best for me when I feel thirsty. G&T use to be my drink. But Virgin T's are just fine now.

(46,680 posts)Stress is an interesting factor in our lives. A little stress keeps the brain engaged. But, too much stress over a long period of time and the body begins to wear down.
Not sure what this has to do with low cal drinks, but, welcome to DU!
