There is one possibly apocryphal story, where Janis Joplin made some blatant sexual advances on Joe Namath.
Namath at that time was also known for being a hound dog.

Sadly, Ron liked his whiskey a lot and he died in 1973, 3 years after Janis.

Janis Joplin
This PBS documentary "Little Girl Blue" is very good. So sad at 1:12:05. She was so alive being in front of the audience or when she was partying.
