1. I had ordered from the Triumph factory a black Triumph TR-4A...

In 1967 with a black interior & black top.

It had independent rear suspension, (1st year ever offered), overdrive that worked on 2nd, 3rd, & 4th gears (making it equivalent to a 7 speed transmission), the SU carbs (110 hp vs 106 hp for the Strombergs) & BELIEVE IT OR NOT, you had to request & pay extra for a AM radio & a heater.

One of the first things I did was install a 4 track player, & one of the first tapes I bought was the Stones "Aftermath".

I played that tape until that wonderful tape player finally ate it 3-4 years later.

Still love the song. Reminds me of my younger (much, much younger) days.

Still have it along with several other old RS picked up at the same time.

I heard PIB recently on a streamed movie, what a great song that takes me way back. Thanks.

4. First time I ever heard this song was as the opening theme of "Tour Of Duty" in the 1980's.
