Am I the only person left on Earth who doesn't have a celly? They have a similar deal in place when I renew my security clearance at work but they have alternatives for people who aren't phone zombies. Twitter doesn't, and I suspect it's because they really, really, REALLY want another contact point from which to annoy me. Soooo, no great loss I guess.

(5,905 posts)I had a Republic Wireless phone that went extinct when they went off the Sprint network. I replaced it with another phone with the same number, but they were still rejecting it.
Email their customer service. They are slow to respond, but they fixed it for me and I got back on.

(506 posts)I valued my twitter account quite a lot, but then I went and said something mean that one of their advertisers disliked, so now I'm suspended pending me giving them my private phone number. What do they want that for? To check on me now and then to see if I'm ok? No. They want it for no reasons that serve my interests. I will not comply.
So here's yet another Twitter vagabond. There is a lot of us!
