... but I would urge anyone interested in this story to read the book it was based on.

Due to the time constraints when putting together a comprehensive film, many compelling parts of this tale had to be left out.

The movie stands up on its own for sure. But reading the book - before or after viewing the film - adds another dimension to a fascinating chapter of history.

Disk about the making of the film.

Definitely read the book if you enjoyed the movie.

Side note I had the pleasure of meeting Harry at my friends wedding. He was awesome. The book had not been released yet. I talked with him the whole night.
