Need help with pronunciation

One of my favorite Tweeters, thanks to various DUers--esp tblue37 -- is this Dutch fellow "Buitengebieden" and in my head, I keep hearing (and saying?) his name as:

"Buttigieg-Biden"

Am I the only one?

And can anyone confirm the correct, actual pronunciation?

I speak Dutch (and I can pronounce it just fine), but the word translates out roughly to "outlying areas," and I definitely don't know anyone with a name like that. I'm in the Netherlands once a week for work, and have an office near Utrecht.
