I am very tempted to just say, "Why don't you just pray it away?" Isn't God omnipotent? And IF it is just part of his "plan", why are you bitchin?

First ask them if they have prayed to god.
When they tell me that they have, I remind them that god is nothing more than dog spelled backwards, and this is proof.
When they tell me that they have not, I tell them, see, you should have prayed, but perhaps to a dog, because it would get a better answer than a dog spelled backwards.
