He waited around the corner of the entrance to the living room for me to come down the hall from kitchen. Then he leaped out, batted my legs a couple times and walked away.
So my husband sat in the living room and tipped me off to which side of the entrance the cat was waiting for me. (He cleverly used to switch sides.) When I reached the entrance, I peeked around the corner and said, "Hi, Alex" to the cat.
Alex was ticked off that he missed his ambush opportunity. Thumped his tail, breathed hard, like snorting. He watched me all evening to catch me off guard and then pounced to make up for it.
love that he had to get his ornery revenge.
