Well, it is fast, for sure. But tying double knots (second more loosely) prevents coming untied. hlthe2b Sep 2022 #1

so, I kind of think the extra time is worth it over the course of a day (or run).

I appreciate the genius it took to figure that out. (Spatial intelligence isn't my strong suit.)

One of my earlier memories at 3 years? is being on our family's summer vacation re-tyiing one of my sneakers bc it'd came loose. But for a few seconds I couldn't remember!
Then I did; picking up the rythyns of the motions. 👍

Ha; that's a bit if a twist, and partly unusual to have both parents be left handed!
Btw, I'm a lefty!
You kind of got a taste (albeit at too young an age) of the confusion we lefties sometimes face.

But good you had family who could teach you!

Otoh, when I at 17, and still very left-handed I asked my right-handed mom to teach me how to knit.
By the third try ,😄 we were yelling at each other! We gave up.

I learned waaaaay later (30 yrs) when from a book with very clear drawings and text I did learn right handed!
I crochet left handed. 👍

The little shits are so fast anyway,..

do we really want to teach them this - to make them more proficient at leaving us in the dust ?

I can hardly keep up now.
