The rest of us were over here in Germany for my wife's mom's 95th birthday. I don't think I've seen that many different kinds of cake in a New York City deli bakery section.

(205,161 posts)And I can remember going apple picking in the fall with my parents here in northern New York. My Dad lost it at my Polish grandmother (mother's mother) since she'd tuck some into her sweater instead of adding them to the official bag!

(54,338 posts)He's usually pretty good-natured, but as sturdily built as a Sumo wrestler. Picking him up is only advised after getting written permission from an orthopedist.

(3,316 posts)I should just refrain unless sure. He is my doppelganger and I was called a toe head all my life. Until recently when my hair has taken on a more silvery tint.

I know as well as the next guy that apples are a by-product of cement production
