Also a powerful reminder of the importance of love and friendship in life and how they give meaning to our existence. Without these kinds of connections, life is just a series of chemical, biological and physical reactions on a temporal repeat cycle...BUT, when connections are made between beings - human to human or human to other species - something more is there, THAT essence of meaning and purpose to life flickers and focuses for a moment, but that moment gets us to the next moment like a high handicap golfer taking that one good shot from an otherwise forgettable round to make it to the first tee another day.

Thanks for sharing that...I got a lot out of it today and didn't appreciate how much I needed it to get out of the otherwise dismal news cycles.

And the puppy doesn't look like it needs any more treats. (Just like my 11yo Akita mix, or me...)
