Because the law does not allow for processing mail-in votes until Election Day. Republicans refuse to change it so they can scream “fraud” when the mail-in votes change the outcome.

I think they will stop counting at midnight or something. They only want their votes counted and then claim victory. TFG said this in 2020. They will do it when they get into power.
