I just entered the forum and logged in both with proper formatting.

1. Still messed up on my old laptop- hours now. iPad is fine

3. I am running a 14 year old Acer laptop

with Windows 7.

Just left to get some info from another site and came back with no problem. Going to log out, go to another site and come back.

4. Back again

Just logged out, went to 2 other sites,came back with no problem, logged in and posted with no problem.

5. power went out today about 2 pm

at 3 there was a fire call, wires down. Just after 4 all was extinguished and crews went home. Power is still out, I'm on a generator. When power went out I came right back to DU when the generator came on, but I shut down to check fuel in generator and had to log back in when I powered back up. Everything has been fine with DU. I have a Mac.

6. We did implement a potential fix earlier this evening

To anyone who is still having this problem, try this (it will only work on a PC/Mac, not on a tablet or phone):

1) On any DU page, hold down the shift key and then click the refresh button in your browser.

2) If that doesn't work, try visiting https://upload.democraticunderground.com/styles/style-main.css -- you should just see a bunch of code. While there, hold down the shift key and then click the refresh button.

3) If that doesn't work, try visiting https://upload.democraticunderground.com and see if the problem persists.

If none of that works, please let me know.
