Daisy Jones & The Six just became the first fictional band to top the iTunes chart
If you haven't heard of this new Prime Video series, see Wikipedia - https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daisy_Jones_%26_The_Six - and Celerity's great post about it from this past December: https://www.democraticunderground.com/10181743398
For all 11 tracks of this fictional band's album, see this YouTube page: https://youtube.com/@atlanticrecords/videos
I haven't watched the first three episodes yet, and I've listened to only a bit of the music. This is supposed to be a band like Fleetwood Mac, and they aren't up to that level, but they're good enough to explain this becoming a hit. The review in the London Times calls the album "a very deliberate pastiche" of Rumours, but "the pastiche is so good that you buy into it anyway." That review is at https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/daisy-jones-the-six-aurora-review-n0dxwz56b and the Archive page at https://archive.ph/q9XNv

Btw, Daisy Jones is played by Riley Keough, Elvis's oldest grandchild.
