(17,246 posts)I will leave my remains here in the Lounge for someone else to clean up because that's the kind of jerk I am!
But to answer the question, this song seems to fit the topic at hand:
Altered to "Climbing the Stairway to Not Heaven" in my case.

Make my bed on a pallet of linen
Lay my head on a pillow of down
I close my eyes and see you
But in the morning, gone.
Rest my bones where the earth meets the heavens
Place my name on the things that you grow
Just close your eyes to find me
Save you a place where I go.

(86,323 posts)I would choose Wie lieblich sind deine Wohnungen, the central movement (IV) of the Requiem.
But I have a different choice, if I were to go to a place people call heaven...
Either,
I never knew the title of this song, it's called , Optimistic Voices!
Or
I love both versions of this song, it's been with me since it first air on my radio, I'll drop everything and listen to the end, every note, don't bug till it's over.
Don't know if I'll go anywhere afterward but i suspect I will hear some version of this on my way out.
The original from a concert nearly 50 years ago...
