Emperor Nero's bathtub

Emperor Nero's bathtub, 54-68 AD. It was made almost entirely from Imperial Porphyry, a type of marble that was extremely expensive due to its purple color. The bath measures 7.5 m (25 feet) in diameter and is currently held in the Vatican Museum.
