This Grateful Dead show was bedlam.

Early May 1979, and I think the outside temperature was in the mid-90's.

Air conditioning in the building was busted, and security kept all of the doors closed because people were rushing the doors.

It was probably 120 degrees in the arena. Topless women who had passed out were being passed overhead by the crowd to get them some help.

Massive crowd rush toward the stage. Band pleads with crowd to move back starting at about 2:45 into this video.
