Kid went to college. Upon his return his dad asked what he’d learned.

Kid says: pi r squared.

Dad replies: that’s plain foolish. Everyone knows pie are round.

My wife went all out and made a fantastic artisan pie from scratch. It was delicious!

They always offer slices of pie a la mode for $3.14 on Pi Day (cherry, apple, or pecan pie with 1 scoop of any of their flavors). I didn't realize they do it every year. I'm diabetic and had exercise class this afternoon where they check blood sugar, etc. There was no way I could have gotten away with it

and recently they also started selling frozen bake-it-yourself pies (previously was only finished/baked pies) so we got an apple pie, which is enormously tall -- perhaps 2/3 as high as it is wide. Just baked it. Smells great, looks great, haven't eaten it yet. Dinner first.
