after the vet put him on a diet away from his former fattening snacks...


Our little friends love "people food", even some vegetables at times... LOL

Growing corn was an experiment last year-- my father always said he had a problem with bugs...

I had a problem with groundhogs...


I tried to grow about 12 or so stalks--- but the groundhogs got half of my yield.

Isn't corn meant to grow 2 ears? Mine only produced the lower ears.


I had about 6 ears for myself, and 6 for the varmints....
(squirrel seemed to like the leftovers also, after they were ruined)


This year I guess I will be more serious with the trap--- I let them run wild on the corn last year,
but plan a larger attempt this year.
