technologically incompetent... but I can raise animals! We recently lost our Susie, our first fawn. She opted out of the wild life and chose to live with our sheep... and so she never got pregnant. After four or five years, with just one sheep for company, someone had obviously come calling. She had twins every year afterwards, but they always chose to live on their own. Susie lived to about twenty and just thinking about the lack of her in our lives makes my eyes water. The two we now have are boys. Deerie is four and Jojo is two and they're nuts!

we were staying at I was in the lodge at the bar having a cold beer. I lowered my left hand to get change out of my pocket and something started sucking on my thumb. Startled I looked down to see a baby deer. Apparently the mother was killed and the local game warden gave the baby deer to the resort owner to see if they could save it. The deer grew for two years and was big hit at the resort. It was free to roam the grounds where kids and grownups would pet it like a big dog. The third year I asked the resort owner where was the deer? He said angrily the first day of hunting season the SOB across the lake shot and killed it.
