into my mouth. 😳 😳 😳 It was huge. Delicious, but just embarrassing to try and eat it.

6. Because they're family owned,

they have stuff that other places don't, like pot roast and pork cutlets. Besides the usual burgers, they also have fish (the fish used for the sandwich is different from the fish used in the dinner) and cheese curds. Fresh beef always, and a choice of cheese. Frozen custard with multiple toppings available.

None of the food is kept under a heat lamp or in a warming drawer.

They started up in Wisconsin and have a large midwestern presence. They've recently expanded into Texas, probably elsewhere. I like their burgers better than In-n-Out, and that's saying something. My closest Culver's is around twenty miles away, but I willingly make the trip.

But, I had an upper GI done on Tue, with nothing to eat or drink since midnight the night before. I felt like I'd been drinking mortar mix, so stopped at a McD's. First of all, the food is as terrible as I remember. Second, it was $20 for 2 breakfast sandwiches, a large OJ, and a large coffee!

Family owned Mexican food chain started in Phoenix, and spreading all over Arizona and expanding into New Mexico and California.

Great breakfast burritos and chimichangas served quickly at a good price 24 hours.

I enjoy the sausage-egg-biscuit, and the burgers and fries are my fast food favorite. The chicken McNuggets are also good, as is the McCrispy (though the rolls on the McCrispy get quite brown and I don’t like burned stuff).

I don’t like Burger King, Subway, or the quick pizza places like Pizza Hut. Wendy’s and Chick Fil-A (despite their bad politics) are good as are others like Jersey Mike’s and Five Guys.

To me, they've lost a bit of the appeal they used to have when they were using the McDonaldland characters in their advertising. My current favorite is BK. I absolutely love the taste of their burgers and fries!

My husband’s favorite is Bojangles spicy chicken sandwich and a cup of ice water. Whew! I like spicy, but theirs is too hot for me. I don’t care for mayo, and there’s not enough sour cream or ranch dressing on the planet to make it tolerable. Oh, well. Some how, I’ll carry on. 🥲

I can get a large coffee (or soda) for $1. I'm on a keto diet and I can order just their 1/4 lb beef patties - salt and pepper, nothing else. They charge me $1.45 to $1.69 depending on the location.
