I couldn't stay in the theater, as it was WAY too loud. Couldn't even hear some of the dialogue because the music overtook it.
And then there were strobing effects.
Anyone else having either, or both, these problems in theaters?

(7,820 posts)That said, I have heard people mention issues with the sound mix- particularly with certain theaters/sound systems. Maybe try again when it hits streaming? Its an incredible movie, particularly if you liked the first one.

(33,643 posts)Not only does it bring down the volume but the can also make the dialogue more clear.

(38,302 posts)I think movies were better when the sound was constrained to one or two analog channels with a somewhat limited dynamic range.
You don't need deafening gut thumping sound effects to tell a story.

(144,919 posts)My youngest child and I saw this movie tonight and liked it. My oldest really like the Punk/spikey spiderman and rave about this character. I did not care for this character and my youngest two children observed that I am a "tool of the oppressors" which is why I did not like this character. My middle child used to tell me that I was a tool of the oppressors when she was 13, and I reminded her that those oppressors were paying her private school tuition.
