Checking the scoreboard it seemed like Buffalo was always hanging around, but never seriously threatening. Probably closer than it should have been, but that'll happen early in the season ...

It is tough to sit through the lopsided match-ups. Notre Dame-Navy and Southern Miss-Nebraska though Southern Miss did make a game out of it, they just couldn't stop Martinez on D.

My team played Thursday, defeated NAU 63-6.

I saw the ASU score on Thursday but didn't get to see any of the game. I'm looking forward to their matchup with Illinois next week ... could be a good game if QB Nathan Scheelhaase can play--he went out with an injury in today's game, but I don't know what the long-term prognosis is.

last year. Probably the best game Illinois played all year it was all downhill after that. Should be a decent game next week in AZ.
