I'm sure that water never warms up no matter what the air temperature is, as it is from melted snow. Perhaps water's meant to be cold, and warm water places are a comfortable anomaly.

Down south the rain in the summer was warm when it hit the skin, but I've never had any warm rain up here. I suspect they're a pretty hardy bunch swimming in that lake, I was just struck by how many people are in the water.

It reminded me of videos of water parks in Japan with lots of people who were just enjoying being in the water. It's great to be out there like that.
