You need to distance yourself emotionally if that bothers you. Especially if you're going into a medical field.

I had rats in my house that were driven out of their homes by construction in back of my house. They were driving me crazy with their scratching every night. I finally hired a pest control guy. And he showed me evey dead rat he caught in his traps. There were a total of 18. I never thought I would be so happy to see dead rats.
