I haven't drank any pickle juice in years [img][/img] maybe I'll move some to my new home instead of just emptying out the old fridge.

I was invited to a very exclusive resort in Hawaii as part of a travel agency familiarization trip. The property was hosting a food and wine festival, and there were many famous culinary characters in attendance.

We were seated with a group of Serious Wine Connoisseurs and confronted with a placemat with circles designating the different dessert wines we were sampling.

The first was ice wine (look it up) at $60 per .5 bottle. My buddy Grizelda (obvious fake name) piped up with "Mmmm...tastes like pickle juice!!!" The experts looked like she'd just you-know-what in the punchbowl.

I, of course, was hysterical.

Incidentally, she bought a bottle of the eiswein/ice wine. After a decade, I can't even look at the stuff without breaking up.

I mix a little pickle jiuce with cold water....like 1:15, give or take.

Delicious! Refreshing! Best thing ever for dry mouth.

In fact, I dont eat the pickles, I just keep re-fueling the juice. A white vinegar, water, salt, add spices as desired: garlic cloves, hot pepper flakes, fresh dill, and let steep.
