Great service from Klipsch Audio.

I bought a $100 Klipsch in-ear headphone last year and expected to use them for a long time.

Over the year the rubber next to the plug broke away leaving the cord free to bend sharply.
This will cause the wire to break at some point and ruin the headphones.

I wrote to Klipsch and asked if there was anything I could do about this and they immediately sent me a brand new set of earphones and said I didn't have to return the old ones.

They have a 2 year replacement guarantee for their headphones and lived up to their promise.

I'll be more careful storing the new ones, the rubber is delicate, but I was pleased with the prompt, pleasant service to remedy my problem.

Just thought I'd give them a kudo here because I think good service deserves it.

BTW: I made a homemade wire protector for the old headphones. Twist a ballpoint pen spring to surround the wire, cover it and the plug with a short heat shrink tube and fasten it to the plug with a drop of super glue. This will probably suffice to keep the old headphones in service for awhile longer.
