Just great. "Alf" will be a CGI character in a movie coming up...

Can Hollywood do ANYTHING original?
I guess not...

'ALF' returns to terrorize cats in upcoming movie

The movie will feature a CGI version of everyone's favorite puppet from Melmac.

(RNN) - Hide your food, hide your cats.

The "alien life-form" who crashed into the Tanners' garage and then into the hearts of America is coming to a theater near you.

In a wave of 80s nostalgia, The Hollywood Reporter says Sony Pictures is planning a live action/CGI movie of the TV Show ALF, much like 2011's remake of The Smurfs.

This time around, Gordon "ALF" Shumway will be an animation, not a puppet. But he will retain his signature wisecracking voice. Puppeteer Paul Fusco, the voice behind the original ALF, has signed onto the project.

It helped with the willing suspension of disbelief. I'm not very good at that.

The human actors were taking their lives in their hands, there were so many pitfalls needed for the puppeteer!

The show stunk, at least to me.
