Went to bed instead. But glad Paul Giamatti won. I liked that "little" movie. hlthe2b Jan 2024 #3
I saw Giamatti win, but missed DaVine Joy Randolph winning. Algernon Moncrieff Jan 2024 #4
Overall, smooth & inoffensive despite the flak the comic got. The "winners" surprised me, UTUSN Jan 2024 #5

After months of Hallmark Christmas movie ads (all so damned formulaic they write themselves), I found "The Holdovers" delightful. Also glad that Oppenheimer (apparently) won a lot too.

I agree - really good movie.

I was also happy for Oppenheimer and for Lily Gladstone.

although I've seldom viewed most/any nominees of whatever event, just make up my mind from media buzz.

*** Actually, I was minorly stunned - touched? - that GERVAIS won with all the history with the Globes.

And after months of my prejudicial favor for Lenny BERNSTEIN, I concede to myself that OPPENHEIMER has a more historically epic sweep beyond just one individual.

*** And I repeat, I have only seen Napoleon, not anything else. Despite my favor for Joachim, disappointed in it.

*** Thanks for asking!
