(55,006 posts)series though, I don't like using the laptop in bed - gives me neck krinks
I did take it over by the fireplace last night and watch the first disc of season 2 of breaking bad! God that show is great, really enjoying it.
Finally got motivated and went for a ride this morning on old Joe. He got kind of crippled up back in October and I didn't ride him for a couple months. Seems ok now, thank god as I still haven't actually "paid" for him yet. (going to trade some heifers)
Beautiful day today. Man November and most of December were cold! I was getting pretty sick of it.
Nap time now.

The bed's edge... not the laptop's.

I stepped out to check the mail today and it was so beautiful
I kept walking for awhile just for the hell of it.

Supposed to be sunny and mid-70's not only through the
weekend -- but all the way to NEXT weekend.

THIS is the winter Tucson weather that I love -- that makes
the summer monsoon heat/humidity MUCH more bearable.

"Breaking Bad" is one of the best shows in the last few years
or more. Brutal and shocking one moment -- hilarious the
next. The writers are incredible. I missed the first several
episodes 'til about 2-3 months ago -- so I had been filling
in a lot of background.

For the folks who might be confused about why you'd go to
the fireplace last night? Kali's at a somewhat higher altitude
and her temps can be 10-20 degrees cooler than mine -- and
Tucson doesn't hold its daytime heat -- it can be 70 during
the day and drop down to either side of freezing at night.

It's WONDERFUL!!!!

(24,721 posts)I've got a couple of those cheap electric throws for chilly nights, but our temperatures haven't gotten lower than the mid-forties. Good, milder-temp's coming up for the weekend, though.
My husband USED to get irritated with my being online a lot when I first started using a computer. He seems to like the idea that I'm posting at a Democratic discussion board. I give him a condensed quantity of the news, which he likes. He has a healthy appetite for what's going on, but he's not the type to become fixated on any one topic. And he has hobbies of his own, like learning online how to play the piano.
