He taught us that the "socially acceptable" kids' word for poop was actually "gumdum".

When a buddy or two would come over, he would parade us out and have us explain to
him/them about this proper teminology.

We were either too unaware or too dim-witted to realize that they were not laughing
WITH us... but AT us.

Good news is that meant it wasn't in the least traumatic.

And so, everytime I hear the song or even someone refer to it, I hear it as "Gumdum Style".

Which makes me laugh.
