This is too weird. Anyone ran into anything like this before?

So I went to see The Master tonight. It was sold out. No big deal, I'll just go tomorrow. But the girl at the ticket booth I used to work with. When she quit I remember her talking about getting a different job in data entry and she explained she had that full time and just this part time. Alright, I have ran into people I used to work with before after they quit.

I friended her on Facebook when we worked together, so I looked her up. And it turns out her boyfriend is one of my best friends from high school. Which is over 400 miles from where I currently live mind you.

Kind of appropriate I suppose since I was trying to see a Paul Thomas Anderson movie, Magnolia and all.

And why I like it.

The world really is a small place. It shows also
how connected we already are.

I have met people randomly...granted I was hanging
out with creative types of people like me...
just the other night I went to have a drink...
We had three of the same "friends".

Seek and you will find. That is why I don't go looking for trouble . . .

... I was cashing in a receipt for scrap metal and he was at the money window. The former bar and scrap metal place are a fair distance apart. He was one of the most upbeat and pleasant bartenders I've ever known (young guy), but that's what he was stuck with for the time. Speaking of which, I've got a shitload of metal to take over there next week. On the "to do" list.
