My daughter has a wonderfully geeky teenage crush on him because of the BBC series "Sherlock." I'm glad she'll finally be a Star Trek fan as well.

I have a wonderfully geeky middle-aged crush on him; brilliant actor and a perfect choice as Sherlock Holmes. I got excited when I read he'll be in this movie, since I'm a Star Trek geek as well.

Pine is fine otherwise. Perfect young Kirk. But he has BLUE EYES!

the diverging of the timeline permanently disrupted the pigmentation in infant Kirk's eyes rendering them blue instead of brown.

Yeah, I just made that up....

...or someone reversed the polarity of the neutron flow...

Basically, Kirk and Spock do the ENTIRE old-spock space ship scene trying to sound like Scottie and make it through without completely losing it (barely). I laughed the entire time.
