A rebirth of occupational last names?


I don’t know about you, but sometimes I make them up for my cell phone. For instance, the maintenance man at my apartment. I don’t know his last name, so I list him as “Gary Maintenance.” My hairdresser—I know her last name, but she’s listed as “Christie Hairdresser.”

A co-worker called me a Jamaican.
Which basically meant I have a lot of different unrelated side jobs included with my main job.

I look nowhere like a Jamaican... Although it might be interesting to have Jamaica as a last name.
