This should be a no-brainer.

All elec. riding mower. Just mowed my overdue behemoth yard and it dawned on me, hey me, why don't you look into an EV riding mower, with their low end torque this should obvious. Price tag now that is another issue.

PS I have not looked into this. Back to mowing.

Maybe we could start there and help transition to a shorter range, light weight, 2 person errand oriented rig for say 10K$ and get many if not most errand trips transitioned to EV. If one is going on a long road trip, well do what cha gotta do.

OK, maybe a few brains. haha

I will delete if to political for the lounge.

I find a battery powered mower much easier to use than the old gas mower was. Even though it isn't a riding mower. It is lighter, not quite as loud, and doesn't spew fumes. The price tag was reasonable for a new mower.

Now I just wish the landscaping crews around here would adopt battery powered mowers instead of their noisy, belching riders. EV riding mowers would be GREAT for that.

If it requires a heavy load (such as a riding lawnmower) you might as well buy the conversion kit for your Tesla and stick the deck under the batteries. Still will only get 1-2 hours before needing a charge.

The couple of units I have (blower and weed-whacker) have pretty substantial 40W batteries (weigh almost as much as the working end) and have about 1 hour worth of life.

Our yard is about 1.5 acres of grass and very hilly. Riding on top of of any mower will require a lot of umph.
