(3,767 posts)Part shar pei part Norwegian elkhound. He looked like a shar pei just less wrinkly. He was a mess on chewing anything wood. He would sit there next to his bone or rawhide stick and calmly chew on the table leg. We would stop him and try to play with the bone trying to get him interested. He never got over his love of chewing on wood. He took off the outside house wood trim and ate it. We tried putting peanut butter on the bones. Everything we could think of.

(1,500 posts)He brought in plants from outside through doggy door into the living room so I came home to wall to wall dirt. Chewed and destroyed furniture, molding, shoes and Christmas presents etc. he had plenty of toys everywhere too. He was just an adorable puppy that was destructive. Glad he calmed down later, we had him for about 18 years ❤️
