I'm built pretty much like she is and it's so awful to know that at any time people can pile on with some kind of snark and bullying. What do we have to do to be seen as valuable and precious people who deserve respect, not in spite of their bodies but because of everything about them?

And conceren trolls make me want to hit something.

My precious little girl came home from kindergarten. She was recounting her day when she got a serious look on her face.

"Dylan said the f word today". She said. I was thinking of something else of course.

"And what F word was that."

Her face became as serious as only a 6 yo can get. She leaned forward and whispered to me....."he called Becky ...... fat."

"You are right, we don't use words that hurts people's heart."

She has always been a sweet sensitive soul. All kids start out as tender little souls, but kids are influenced by what you teach them.
