so, all we need to do is

open image in new tab
go to the main picture.
highlight, copy link

does some pictures work and others not? we dont have to use a photosomething, now? it really is that simple?

9. If you click on a picture and no new tab opens, it's a no go. You'll end up with the webpage.

I used to a long, long time ago on another forum drag the pictures from one page to a post. But I found out that was 'bandwidth theft' and quit that.

A lot of people use photobucket.com. You can get a free account there, but if you pay $20 (?) for a yearly subscription, you won't have a lot of flashing ads to sift through; plus, paid subscribers get to use the editing tools.

14. It used to be (or still is) against DU rules to just paste the URL of a pic...

from another site into a post. (the reasoning being that every hit to that other site's server costs them money)

I think it is called blind linking, but I do it sometimes and, so far, no banhammer for me.
