OK, now how weird is this???

My neice has a female cat (unspayed), who is currently in heat. Yesterday, her (spayed) female beagle began trying to "satisfy", if you will, the cat's longings!
Dog on cat!! Looks like Rick Santorum was right, huh?

The difference here is that both the cat and the dog are female!
edit to add...as far as the new species goes...d'ya think maybe caline or fenine???
