I've probably learned more about Will from your posts than I did in high school!

3. Well, keep in mind, a lot of what I post about Will (apart from his writing)

in terms of his personality and so on, is apocryphal or conjecture. I just like to create the illusion that I actually know him...

Clearly not a California Zinfandel. Probably not tequila, either.

I know he was part of the King's Men and all that but still...

"That a-GAIN? Okay for you, you headless, two-timing witch! I was retired! You get that? Retired! But the King's Men kept pestering me! Letter after letter they sent: 'Come back, Will. Come back to London. We need something with the Shakespeare name on it.' I was knackered like an old dray horse, but the money they offered was too damn good. I said: 'What are you working on, lads?' They showed me some of Fletcher's pages. Rubbish, the lot of it, but he had the articulated skeletons of at least two good plays. So I prettied them up for him. They were hits. I took my cut, and then lit out for Stratford. And that's it!

One of them was Henry VIII. Happy, Anne?"
