Having some Greek food and a couple of drinks. Anyone care to join me for the end of the world?

May as well go out with a buzz...

An appropriate beverage for the end of all things: Irish Death!

Slunge!

6. Awwwh, shit, then it's gonna be a great work day!

Don't you love that?

I actually have very little going on at work tomorrow, and therefore, it's sort of the weekend already.

But, I could get so much more done in 4 days, I tell you.

10. So far, I have three patients scheduled for clinic tomorrow.

That will undoubtedly change by the time I get to work tomorrow. But at least I don't have a freakish thirty people on my schedule, as happens sometimes...

11. I had people "no show" all week...

(I'm the RT who does pulmonary function testing), and tomorrow, I have no one on the schedule, due to the holiday and weather, probably. I'll use the time wisely, though.

Then...

5. And to you, lisa!

I'm having Greek lasagna (yes, apparently there is such a thing...) and an Irish Death.

Ah, your fleur-de-lise does me a world of good. My ancestry is mostly French, with some Welsh and Irish thrown in...

9. Punch line:.........I got nothing, sorry...

Irish Death is a porter, like Guinness, but a little sweeter. Good stuff!

I'm marking that down on my to-do list for next week when I'm off work. Haven't had any in a good long while.

12. Right now I am stuffed full of pizza, but you can still regale me with

what makes up a delightful Greek menu. I am not sure I have ever had any traditional Greek food.

Quick question, though:

19. dolmades?

If the world does end, I will miss dolmades (and also baklava).

I had a beer tonight. It was a "fin du monde" in honor of the occasion.

24. I just remembered there's some cold pizza in the fridge

and I brought home some Innis and Gunn cask-aged beer that should be cold by now so yes, I think I will join you. All I have for work tomorrow is the department party and gift exchange - then about a half day on Monday and then I'm off until 1/2/13...

assuming it doesn't go all pear shaped tonight.

Cheers!
